Institutional Services
Community engagement, qualitative research, and facilitation for organizations that need participation to hold up over long timelines.
What this work is for
Most engagement consults the public about a plan that is already decided.
Participation is most useful when people can see how their contributions connect. It also has to show institutions what the process is producing.
I work differently. Participation happens throughout a project, in a form low-barrier enough to reach people who cannot follow a public process closely.
My role complements a technical, research, planning, healthcare, or community-based team. It does not replace the expertise already in place.
This is not decorative art curation, and it is not compliance-only outreach.
Three services
Each one can run on its own or alongside the others.
Across Phases
Community Engagement Continuity
I keep people connected between project phases, when public work slows down. Workshops and pop-ups leave a visible record of participation.
Who it serves
For long-cycle projects, CHNA processes, recovery initiatives, comprehensive plans, and grant-funded programs where community contact cannot go quiet between formal engagement phases.
Reporting
Qualitative Research & Reporting
I gather narratives and synthesize them for CHNA, CHIP, grant and planning documents. The method is grounded in formal CBPR training.
Who it serves
Health departments, health systems, CHNA/CHIP processes, planning firms, and grant programs that require evidence of community engagement and qualitative community insight.
Team Support
Facilitation & Advisory
I help teams design engagement structures and build internal capacity. I strengthen the human-facing layer alongside the expertise already in place.
Who it serves
Health systems, planning teams, public agencies, and consultants who need engagement design, structured facilitation, or subcontract support.
